Auld Lang Syne - A Tiny New Year’s Soapbox Show

It's our final episode of 2021 and what better way to say Happy New Year than with a Tiny Soapbox Show from the LaunchDad himself? We're talking New Year's resolutions and looking inward at our own accountability and responsibilities to make those resolutions come true. We're talking about honoring those from our past in order to move forward in the future. We're talking about leaving the excuses behind and just doing the damn thing. Buckle up, buttercup...this one gets real before we slow it down and get reflective going into 2022.

The 2021 Holiday Giving Show

Ho ho, everybody! It’s our 2nd annual Holiday Giving Show and we're bringing you all the feels today as the LaunchDad, along with his good friend and Shannon's Fight co-founder, Dr. Dana Battaglia, help the less fortunate this holiday season. We can make all the jokes we want about the holiday theme and say how much fun this is going to be...but selfishly, this episode feels so good and so necessary every single year. We're not rolling like Oprah like last year, but we're still doing some good and having some laughs along the way.

Hosted by entrepreneur and keynote/TEDx speaker George Andriopoulos.

The Holiday Giving Show (The Launchcast Reboots)

It's another Launchcast Reboot and this is the one where we pretended to be Oprah for an hour. YOU get a donation...and YOU get a donation. Episode 312 is a reboot of a very special episode: The Holiday Giving Show. We spent the episode with Dana and James Battaglia, two of George's co-founders and co-board members from Shannon's Fight, and we got to talk with four other incredible non-profit organizations about their missions and more. It was such a blast to do some major good for such good organizations, and you'll see what we mean as you listen to this tear-jerker of an episode.

Giving Tuesday Explained - A Tiny Soapbox Show

It's #GivingTuesday and The Launchcast is explaining what that means on episode 311. The LaunchDad talks about how to get involved with your favorite charity in a ton of ways: donating money, donating while shopping with Amazon Smile, volunteering service or just supporting and spreading awareness. It's a quick episode this week since you got a bonus Thanksgiving episode and we're back next week with another leadership interview.

Thankful for You - A Tiny Thanksgiving Soapbox Show

Sure, bonus episode 310 of The Launchcast is just shy of 24 minutes in total, but trust us when we say that this Tiny Soapbox Show sticks to the 20 minutes or less rule when it comes to the meat and potatoes of this episode...or should we say the turkey and stuffing since this is our 2021 Thanksgiving show! Join George as he reflects on being thankful through a difficult time and in true holiday spirit, we hear from the children themselves on the meaning of the word thankful as the LaunchDad is joined by 2 of his kids, the LaunchLad and the LaunchLass (one of them may or may not claim that those words are British and not Scottish). Stay tuned until the end as one of the kiddos does their impression of podcast's intro, including goosebumps, "wooo" and the elbow drop. Plenty to be thankful for in this show.

Can You Hear the Winds of Change? - Janice Lintz

As a community and thought-leader, George is always searching for other leaders that have experienced a spark moment in their lives that led them on the path to creating change. In Episode 309 of The Launchcast the LaunchDad interviews Janice Lintz, a person that changed hearing access in the US, disrupted the hearing aid market and now, along with her organization Hearing Access & Innovations, is working on global best practices. What you may not know is that this guest was booked on the show because of George's growing passion for hearing access advocacy due to his second daughter's hearing disability. This one gets personal and it's a must listen.

The Food Speaks, and So Does Chef - Chef Marc Bynum

Put a Sock In It (The Launchcast Reboots) - John Cronin & Mark Cronin

We've got the first The Launchcast Reboot of season 3 with episode 306, "Put a Sock In It" where George interviews John Cronin and his father Mark Cronin, co-founders of John's Crazy Socks, a social enterprise that the boys bootstrapped during start-up phase and have grown into a multi-million dollar organization whose mission is to spread happiness (with the CRAZIEST socks). What if we told you that a man was born with Down syndrome, a hole in his heart, and required intestinal surgery at 2 days old, what would your expectations of his life be? If your answer is "low expectations," you're missing the secret ingredient: happiness.  Since this podcast is all about exploring the depths of leadership, George felt it was his duty to ask John and Mark the hard-hitting questions that tell the true stories of the leadership journey. In order to remain true to that mission, this episode comes to you in its original raw, unedited form. Please be patient and pay close attention to John's answers...they contain some of the best examples of leadership that we've every heard on this show.
